At ATHÉALIER, we operate on the basis of simple, transparent, and reasonable terms and conditions. These terms govern the sale of products and the booking of workshops through this website. By placing an order or booking a workshop you agree to the terms outlined below.
Product Description
All products are handmade using natural materials. Variations in colour, grain and markings are a natural characteristic of leather and should not be considered defects.
Product images are representative, but slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the items.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in GBP. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase through the website. Orders will not be processed until payment has been received. ATHÉALIER reserves the right to update pricing at any time.
Shipping
Orders will normally be dispatched within a reasonable timeframe after purchase.
Shipping times may vary depending on location and courier services. ATHÉALIER is not responsible for delays caused by postal services. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is accurate.
Returns and refunds for faulty products
ATHÉALIER products are all made-to-order, so we are unable to offer returns and refunds unless the product is faulty.
If an item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact ATHÉALIER as soon as possible with details and photographs where appropriate.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, faulty goods may be repaired, replaced or refunded.
To be eligible for repair, replacement or refund, faulty items must be: unused, in original condition (with only reported fault(s)), and returned within 14 days of approval of the return request.
Workshop Bookings
Workshop places must be booked in advance and paid in full at the time of booking. Spaces are limited and bookings are confirmed once payment has been received. Participants must be 18 years or older.
Workshop Cancellations
If you cancel:
More than 7 days before the workshop: full refund
Within 7 days: refund only if the place can be filled (materials have to be prepared in advance of workshops)
Cancellation according to these term should be available through our booking system, but if you're unable to do so, please contact info@athealier.co.uk.
ATHÉALIER reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or when the required minimum enrollment of 2 people is not met. If a group workshop has to be cancelled by ATHÉALIER, we will offer the choice of a full refund, a credit or the opportunity to book an alternative date (if available). We will provide as much notice as possible. All refunds must be made to the original payment method used.
Workshop Participation & Safety
Leathercraft workshops involve the use of hand tools and materials.
By booking a workshop with ATHÉALIER, participants acknowledge that:
- Workshops involve the use of tools such as needles, knives, punches and mallets.
- Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the session.
- Participants take responsibility for using tools carefully and appropriately.
ATHÉALIER will provide guidance and instruction throughout the workshop to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
ATHÉALIER cannot accept responsibility for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or misuse of tools.
If participants have any medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to take part safely, they should notify ATHÉALIER in advance.
Refreshment and Alcohol Policy
Light refreshments may be offered during some workshops, including a complimentary glass of wine. Alcohol is provided purely as a hospitality gesture. Participants must be 18 years or older.
Alcohol is offered in moderation as part of a social workshop environment. Participants are responsible for their own consumption and behaviour.
ATHÉALIER reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol where appropriate.
Participants who choose to consume alcohol should ensure they can travel home safely.
Intellectual Property
All designs, product images, workshop materials and website content are the intellectual property of ATHÉALIER unless otherwise stated.
They may not be reproduced, copied or used without permission.
Limitation of Liability
ATHÉALIER’s liability is limited to the value of the product purchased or the workshop booking.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
